Description
A sculpture I created such that it could be presented in two different ways at my option.
Materials: Welded steel and clothing.
The coat is one I wore for years until it started ripping, then turned into part of my costume for haunted houses. The steeltoed boots were worn on my mission, then as work-boots (for making art as well as any manual labor I performed) for years. I decided to retire both as part of this sculpture, which I constructed based on slight tweakings of my own body's measurements. I'd still like to go back with a rosebud and bend the fingers, but I no longer have access to welding gear.
Made in 2005. Photographs recently recieved from Erik Geschke, who shot them for me.
Edit 11/2010: Holy Mackerel! A DD for me! And a whole boatload of and collection love as well! I wish that I could go to each and every single one of you and thank you for the s, but I'd never be able to get to all 300+ of you, so I'll have to just give you a collective "You're awesome and I feel so loved!" right now.
